Walking times are measured along OpenStreetMap streets and paths at about 3 mph. Not every street has a sidewalk, and the railroad can only be crossed at marked crossings.

How this plan is timed
  • Opening hours are each business's own posted weekly hours, checked on the date shown on its card. A stop is planned only if it is open for the whole visit; places that do not post weekly hours are marked so you can check.
  • Walking minutes are measured along OpenStreetMap streets and paths at about 3 mph, from the door to the door. Hills, crossings and crowds are not modeled.
  • Visit lengths are our planning guesses, not facts: a sit-down meal 60 minutes, coffee 20, a shop 25, a gallery 30, a brewery or wine bar 40 to 45. A full day includes lunch between about 11:15 and 1:45.
  • With the train picked, the plan uses the railway's published departure pattern (10 a.m. for the 4-hour ride, 3 p.m. for the 2-hour, per its booking system for late October to early December 2026) and gets you to the depot 45 minutes early, as the railway advises. It runs on select dates only, so book first.
