Downtown Blue Ridge, Georgia has two brewery taprooms, Georgia wine tasting rooms, a rooftop bar and a small live-music venue, all within about an 8-minute walk of the depot. Eight drink-first places are in this guide, and six post weekly hours. Most close early: the two taprooms post closing times between 6 and 8 p.m. If you want a drink after dinner, look at the rooftop bar, the late cocktail rooms and the restaurant bars below.
Hours are as each business posts them, checked Oct 17, 2026; call ahead. Walking times are measured from the depot along OpenStreetMap streets at about 3 mph and rounded to the minute; hills are not modelled.

Is Blue Ridge a dry county?
We have not found a county or City alcohol ordinance we could cite, so we will not state the rules. What the businesses publish is plain enough: two taprooms, wine tasting rooms and bars post regular hours downtown, and the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway’s concession car sells alcohol to guests 21 and older (outside alcohol is not allowed on the train). For sale hours or open-container rules, ask City Hall at (706) 632-2091.
